Nine hole scores are useful for Golf Leagues, beginners, juniors, and seniors who may be interested in tracking their progress without having to keep an official handicap. Here are two easy ways to track nine hole scores with the American Golf System:

  • For 18 hole handicaps with 9 hole scores, cut the rating in half on a different set of tees (some courses may be able to give you the rating/slope on the particular nine holes).

  • For 9 hole handicaps with 9 hole scores, cut the rating and slope in half.
